Apostolos Kairis

Physiotherapy Center of Athens was founded in 1981 by Apostolos Kairis, physiotherapist. It runs on self-owned premises on a 300m²ground floor in Paleo Faliro on Poseidonos Avenue and it has been rendering its services for 25 years not only to individuals from the wider zone of Attica but also to Sports Associations. Mr. Kairis was the official Physiotherapist of Panionios Gymnastics Association and Panionios Basketball Department for 8 years.

He graduated from the Athens University and worked for three years at the University Hospital in Istanbul. He continued with post-graduate studies in the USA, which included specialization in the field of athletic injuries and ergometrics, in Atlanta and Tennessee respectively.

During the last 25 years he has attended more than 100 medical congresses all over the world, has given many lectures in forums in Greece and abroad and has participated in more than 30 television and radio programs regarding physiotherapy issues.

Mr. Kairis and his associates participated voluntarily, with great enthusiasm, in the Athens Olympics 2004, undertaking full physiotherapy support to sailing teams in Agios Kosmas facilities and to Triathlon teams in Vouliagmeni.

Today, Mr. Kairis and his ten-member specialized staff offer their knowledge and experience using state-of-the art equipment. Giving special emphasis not only to the immediate relief from pain but also to preventive physiotherapy in order to minimize future aggravation of disorders. All cases that need physiotherapy assistance - particularly orthopedic post operational or not, neurological, rheumatic and all athletic injuries- are treated.
